TANDEM® Language Schools
The Language Centre is part of the international network of TANDEM® Schools. These schools guarantee effective, interesting and varied tuition in small groups by highly trained native speakers. There are TANDEM® Schools in Chile, Germany, England, France, Ireland, Italy, Canada, Peru and Spain. These schools receive assistance and academic support from the TANDEM® Foundation in San Sebastian (Spain).
We find a TANDEM®-partner for you!
When requested, we endeavour to find TANDEM®-partners who is learning your mothertongue. This enhances the language learning process, promotes intercultural exchange and encourages autodidactic learning methods. You will meet your TANDEM®-partner at least twice a week for an hour or more. You take turns at being student and teacher, sharing the time between their two native languages. In order to become a TANDEM®-partner you need to be at least 18 years old and attending a course lasting at least four weeks. TANDEM® is not suitable for beginners.
The Language Centre tries to find TANDEM®-partners for all those students who meet the above requirements and who express their desire to find a language partner on their enrolment form. However, as we cannot guarantee this (particularly during vacation periods), language partners are allocated in the order the enrolment forms are received.
